BREEDER AGREES:
* Above dog has been vet examined and is found to be in good health. A vet certificate will be supplied.
* Above dog is up to date on its immunizations and wormings. Health record will be supplied.
* Buyer has a 72 hour health guarantee from the date of possession of the dog. Failure to have puppy vet checked within this time nullifies health guarantee. Breeder is not responsible for any stress / environmentally induced disorders or accidents while in the buyers care. Breeder is not responsible once the puppy has left our premises and our control.
* To supply buyer with shot record, vet health certificate, registration info or papers and any other necessary paperwork at time of purchase.
* Our breeding stock has been vet certified healthy for hips (LeggPerthes), knees (Patella Luxation), have proper scissor bites, proper temperaments and our foundation stock is DNA Profiled. Our breeding animals are from Trout Creek Kennel foundations lines and are true American Hairless Terriers.
* (Breeding Animal) To the best of breeder's knowledge the above dog is free of any disqualifying faults per the American Hairless Terrier Standard set forth by the founder of the breed. A standard will be supplied upon request or you may see copy on our website.
* (Breeding Animal) To the best of the breeder's knowledge the above dog is free of any genetic diseases or breeding defects. See notation below for replacement information of breeding animals.
BUYER AGREES:
* To have above dog vet checked within 72 hours of possession by a licensed veterinarian of the buyer's choice.
* That all vet bills are the responsibility of the buyer.
* To keep the above dog up to date on all immunizations and health care.
* To keep dog from public exposure until he/she has been sufficiently vaccinated.
* To notify the breeder if they can no longer care for this dog/puppy. The buyer may not give or sell this puppy to anyone else without first notifying the breeder and receiving written permission to do so. Puppy must be returned to breeder unless otherwise worked out between the concerned parties in writing. No refund will be made.
* The breeder's kennel name (Kela's) must be used somewhere in the registered name of the dog.
* (Pet/Companion Animal) Above dog MUST be spayed or neutered by the age of six months. A spay or neuter certificate signed by the attending veterinarian MUST be sent to the breeder. If proof is not received by the date stated in this contract the dog will be repossessed by the breeder. Registration papers will be mailed once proof has been received.
* (Breeding Animal) to consider having certain tests done on above dog before breeding. This is not a requirement but a suggestion.
* (Breeding Animal) no pups born of the above dog may be sold to puppymills, pet stores or dog brokers.

NO BREEDING OF ANY PET/COMPANION PUP SOLD BY KELAS KRITTERS. THERE WILL BE A FINE OF $2500 IMPOSED ON ANY PERSON BREEDING ONE OF MY PUPS THAT HAS BEEN SOLD STRICTLY AS PET/COMPANION. Initials________
NO AMERICAN HAIRLESS TERRIER SOLD BY KELAS KRITTERS MAY BE BRED TO ANY OTHER BREED OF DOG. A $2500 FINE WILL BE IMPOSED ON ANYONE FOUND TO BE BREEDING TO ANY BREED OTHER THAN A PUREBRED AMERICAN HAIRLESS TERRIER. Initials______
FOR THE PROTECTION OF THIS DOG:
AT NO TIME SHOULD THIS PUPPY/DOG BE GIVEN TWO VACCINATIONS ON THE SAME DAY. THIS INCLUDES VACCINATIONS SUCH AS DA2PP/CV, RABIES, LYME DISEASE, OR GIARDIA. NO VACCINATION SHOULD BE GIVEN THE SAME DAY THE PUP/DOG HAS RECEIVED HEARTGARD PREVENTATIVE. ALL VACCINATIONS, HEARTGARD PREVENTATIVE AND WORMINGS SHOULD BE SPREAD OUT ATLEAST TEN DAYS APART. I OR ANY ONE ASSOCIATED WITH KELAS KRITTERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR HEALTH ISSUE THAT ARISES FROM NOT ABIDING BY THIS WARNING. Initials__________
TERMS OF REPLACEMENT:
This puppy is warranted against genetic defects or disease rendering it unfit as a pet for ONE YEAR from date of birth. This must be a true and unquestionable genetic defect, not environmentally induced, human mishandling, or caused by an accident. A written veterinarian report on vet's letterhead will be needed with unrefutable proof it is a true genetic defect or disease.
If the above dog should develop a severe genetic disease and can no longer function as a Pet/Companion Animal the breeder will replace at no charge with a dog of comparible value (ie. Breeding Animal or Pet/Companion Animal). The buyer must suppy the breeder with a complete report from a licensed veterinarian on offical letterhead, stating this dog can no longer function as a pet. If this dog should die from a genetic disorder, a necropsy is required along with all documentation from the veterinarian. Once paperwork is completed and presented to the breeder, the breeder agrees to replace the puppy/dog with a puppy from the same litter or within one year of date claim is made. All vet bills and return shipping fees are the responsiblitly of the buyer and will not be accepted by the breeder, unless otherwise worked out between the two parties.
(Breeding Animal) If the above dog develops a breeding defect or a disqualifying fault (per the foundation kennel's standard for the breed) the buyer may choose to return the dog for a replacement puppy/dog within one year of return or keep the dog and receive a refund of $___________ which represents the difference between the price of Breeding Animal and Pet/Companion Animal. If the dog is kept as a pet it MUST be spayed or neutered and never bred.
Concerning Luxating Patellas: Puppies have been vet checked for luxating patellas at their nine week examination. Once cleared by my vet they are considered clear. Rough handling, allowing the dog to jump from high places, rough housing with larger dogs, or children dragging puppy by the leg can cause ligament/tendon damage resulting in knee damage. We cannot be responsible for buyer's mishandling.
Unless otherwise specified, all vet bills for corrective surgery, cosmetic surgery, shots and normal health care, euthanasia, spay/neuter and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
